  • Anyone use essential oils?

Looking to find some organic and non-pill ways to take the edge off of pain.  Does anyone have experience with essential oils?  Any insight would be much appreciated.

I have used essential oils. I keep Lavender at all times. It's great for decompressing, relaxing, and getting to sleep. On those days when I have back pain from poor sleep, I use a combination of orange and peppermint. It's like lightning in a bottle. Really wakes you up and energizes you.

Sounds like your use is not so much pain relief but more energy... like a jolt to the system to wake up and catch your second wind?

I have used magnesium oil with some success. It helped relax my tight muscles so I could get moving for the day.

I’ve just started using magnesium at night to help sleep, along with a lavender diffuser and lavender hot pillow. I love essential oils. Also have a lavender body cream for at bedtime .

Lavender is my absolute favorite. It’s really nice to hear you’re having a great therapeutic time with essential oils. I couldn’t agree more. I must try the body cream. Sounds fab too. For the morning, I’m into peppermint as well as wild orange. Anytime of day I like a specific blend of several oils from this company doTerra called balance.. it’s a calming and anti-anxiety one. Obsessed. Here’s to healing with essential oils!
